Hike to the Summit of Damavand

 Damavand summit is located in Alborz mountains in north of Iran, it’s the highest peak and volcano in Iran and the Middle East with a height of 5610 m and Professional climbers are very interested to climbing to one of the prominent peaks in Asia .The best time for climbing to the Damavand summit is between July and August. High physical fitness is required to climb Damavand

Day: 1 (IKA-Tehran) - Overnight in a hotel 4*/5* in Tehran

•  Arrival to IKA, transfer to hotel in Tehran

Day: 2 (Tehran-Polour) - Overnight in Camp#2 (Goosfandsara)

• Transfer from your hotel in Tehran to Polour federation guesthouse
• Get hiking permission
• Transfer to Base Camp
• Trekking to Camp#2

Day: 3 (Camp#2-Camp#3) – Overnight in Camp#3 (Bargeh-e Sevom)
Acclimatization day:

• Climbing to Camp #3 and turn back to Bargah-e Sevom

Day: 4 (Camp#3-Damavand summit) – Overnight in Camp#3 (Bargeh-e Sevom)

• Climbing to Damavand summit and descent back to Camp #3

Day: 5 (Camp#3-Tehran) - Overnight in a 4*/5* hotel in Tehran

• Descent to Camp #2
• Transfer to Camp #1
• Transfer to your accommodation in Tehran

Day: 6 (Tehran) - Overnight in 4*/5* hotel in Tehran

Sightseeing in Tehran:

• Niavaran Palace complex, the last residence of Pahavi II
• National Garden Gate
• National museum, overview of the ancient history of Persia
• Treasury of National Jewels, one the most impressive jewelry collections (Visiting hours: Saturday to Tuesday 2-5 PM)

Day: 7 (Tehran-IKA)

• Transfer from Tehran to IKA for departure flight back home
