Tabriz Bazaar
The bazaar of Tabriz, one of the masterpieces of Iran and world architecture is situated on the path of Silk Road and it's well-known as the largest covered bazaar in the world. It has more than 5500 shops, 35 caravansary, 25 Timcheh (passageway with shops), 30 mosques, 20 Rasteh Bazaar (rows of Shops), 11 vestibules, 9 Seminaries and 5 public bathhouse. With 40 different jobs, Tabriz Bazaar, is one of the biggest trading centers of Silk Road that represents Eastern-Islamic life.


El Goli Park

El Goli Park
El Goli Park is one of the most famous symbols of the traditional architecture of Azerbaijan and the largest parks of Tabriz. The beautiful Mansion in the middle of the park, surrounded by the artificial lake, makes this park so unique.


Blue Mosque

This mosque was built in the middle of 15th century upon the order of Jahan Shah who chose Tabriz as the capital of his kingdom. The mosque was rebuilt in 1973, because it was severely damaged in an earthquake in 1780, and this restoration was done under the supervision of the national organization for preservation of ancient monuments

Municipality Edifice of Tabriz, is one of the significant symbols of Tabriz. In 2007 the building became the unique and the first municipality museum of Iran and it looks like a flying eagle from top view, it has a German architectural style. The building has a clock tower of 30.4 meters with four faces that rings every 15 minutes.


Arg-e Alishah

Arg-e Alishah
Alishah Citadel was built in 14th century during the Ilkhanate era but the structure remained incomplete with the sudden death of the governor of Tabriz, and during the 19th century this structure turned into the fort and military installations of Tabriz. Nowadays the remaining structure is visible from far distances in downtown of Tabriz.


Maqbaratoshoara

This monument is the Mausoleum of poets, Maqbaratoshoara is a cemetery belonging to classical and contemporary poets, mystics and other notable people, located in Tabriz. It was built in the mid-1970s by the Secretary of Arts and Cultures of East Azarbaijan.

The Iron Age Museum is actually a cemetery of that era, related to the end of the second millennium and early first millennium BC, and in this place several skeletons, equipment, jewellery and adorned machinery were buried together beside this skeletons.


Kanovan village

Kandovan is an ancient rocky village near to Tabriz, the locals dug their houses in the volcanic rocks, the cone shape of house is the result of the eruption of Sahand volcano, and these materials were naturally moved and formed the rocks of Kandovan.

Sohroqh Church

Sohroqh Church
Sohroqh Church is near Tabriz on top of a hill overlooking Sohrogh village. The original structure of the church was built during the 5th century AD, but current building constructed by Russian and French designers and Azerbaijani‘s masters back to the first half of 19th century. Its brick dome is related to Qajar era.
